Halin de Repentigny heads South - really South!

Posted by Susan Stanley on

On Sunday, February 1st, Halin heads to Argentina.

Every year for the last decade or so this is where he's goes to rejuvenate, inspire himself, and renew his creativity. Halin usually heads to the mountains in Bariloche.

Halin owns a cabin in this area. The scenery and the geography remind him a lot of Yukon. So in his heart he won't be far from home.

Below are some images he's painted on trips to Argentina. This one is called "Where to Meet the Horizon". It's a large painting full of vibrancy and energy.

This wonderful landscape image is titled: "Ratama", another large painting with a colourful palette and lush heavy, thick brushstroke work.
