International Recognition for Halin de Repentigny

Works by Halin de Repentigny Included in International Art Publication

Whitehorse, Yukon – The Artist Project (TAP) announced today, that works by well-known Yukon artist Halin de Repentigny (http://halinderepentigny.ca) have been included in the art publication, International Contemporary Artists Volume IX http://www.incoartists.com/Vol_IX/index.html published by ICA Publishing based in New York, USA.

“Having Halin’s work included in this beautiful book is another step in sharing his incredible art with the world” said Susan Stanley, President of TAP. “We are confident that as more people are exposed to Halin’s work his stature and standing within the art world will continue to grow.”

The International Contemporary Artists book is an annual publication and features artists from around the world. The book is provided to galleries and museums throughout North America and Europe in addition to copies being provided directly to the artist. Artists are selected for inclusion in the book by a jury of art experts and art lovers based in New York. In notifying TAP of their successful application, Julia Adison Assistant Curator of ICA Publishing noted of Halin “His work is really impressive and we’ll be honored to present it in the book.”

de Repentigny is excited to see his work gaining international exposure. “As an artist it is always gratifying to know people appreciate your work. Being a Yukon based artist in an international publication is a real thrill for me and I’m looking forward to seeing where this next stage of my career takes me.”
