A stand of poplars rises from a blaze of undergrowth, the stark white trunks cutting through a field of reds, purples, and golds. The forest feels both alive and abandoned — colour surging where the trees themselves have begun to fail. The painting sits inside that contradiction, finding beauty in decay.
