A line of caribou fights the river’s icy pull, antlers cutting through the current as the herd pushes toward the safety of the opposite bank. The steep cliffs and burned treeline rise behind them — Yukon wilderness at its most unforgiving and beautiful. Determination, instinct, and survival move across the water in unison.
